Brute ? The buffalo was just standing there, minding its own business when, suddenly, it’s set upon by two wild things and slaughtered.Who are the real brutes here ?

That was an inferior Cape Buffalo. I’ve read they can be very dangerous and logically would have gored and tromped both man and lion. Now that would have been a great way to end this strip!!!
