It’s that time of the year in Northern New England. Black flies are coming soon, too.

I knew a guy in Montana that kept the mosquitos away by putting an old lamp out in the back of the yard well away from the deck and the mosquitos swarmed the light but we were fine. Of course the deck was pretty dark, but it was worth it.

“Everyone”? Wife and dog typically do not constitute ‘everyone’. Maybe Chaz is talking to the reading audience, too…

I read that catnip is better than Deet for repelling mosquitoes. Of course, the mosquitoes won’t be able to bite you when you are swarming with cats! :)
