We did something like this with our kids when they were young and into SpyKids. First lesson in stealth was to move slowly and deliberately. Haste makes noise. Of course, when they joined the soccer team, they had to unlearn the slow part.

Really stealthy people don’t need to walk on tippy toe. Their normal walk is perfectly silent.
