It would be more fun if that board had Greek letters.

Actually it looks like shorthand language. The first few lines read, ‘Ask why not ze motor melts ocean.’

Actually, it is in a language.

The letters are just not arranged to form words and sentences.

Ziggy probably misunderstood when the eye doctor said to read the eye chart.

If Bugs Bunny was in this comic, he would be able to read the bottom line.

Maybe the Dr. should use the kiddie chart. It’s shapes as they are too young to know letters yet.

We had a vision screening at school once. The lady asked me to read the bottom line. “Copyright 1965…” I passed.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, in several elections, there were accusations that some candidates evaded military service or got “safe” positions in the armed forces.

Harry Truman, on the other hand, cheated to get into the Missouri National Guard: He memorized the eye chart.

The last time I was asked to read an eye chart the nurse stood in the way and grinned at me. So I replied P R E T T Y. I made her day.

Are you sure those letters don’t form words? The first three lines look awful similar to the name of a prescription medication I’m on.

My eye doctor doesn’t use such an “eye chart”. Instead, a machine that projects images into my eye, so the order is random and can’t be memorized.

I’ve never seen the Letter A in an eye chart.

Me neither. It is not preceded by a dot like the other lines. Perhaps it is the snow capped mountain logo of the company that makes the chart!

“It’s not written in any language.”

Well, didn’t expect that it would be. I don’t even know in what country they speak “Any”.
