I have and there is a trick to it. Fill the sink with warm water grab the front paws with one hand the the rear with the other and start with the head first using a dipping motion ending with the towel. Immediately wrap the at in a thick warmed towel. Had to dip a couple of cats once to get rid of fleas. The presious owner of the house had a dog with fleas. It took a year to get rid of the fleas.
I had a cute little kitty named Spunky who loved to walk along the ledge of the tub while I was showering. He’d always fall in. He enjoyed it. If he hadn’t, he wouldn’t have walked along that ledge. He was the cleanest kitty in town.
Our cat got sprayed by a skunk, so to bathe him I prepared a 5 gallon bucket of warm water, some dish soap, a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda. I then put him in my fishing net, gave it a spin to hold him in and gave him several dunkings in the bucket. Gave him a good toweling afterwards then let him out of the net. Never got a scratch, he smelled much better, but instead of being black, the hydrogen peroxide did make him a dark chocolate brown for awhile.

My Mom’s cat would always get in the shower with her. She had to lock him out of the bathroom! His name was Mystery!
