I have permanent reminders of my old trike, scars where the pedal shaft went through my leg, a stuffed back and C2 vertebra. Oh the weird things my nerves do when arthritis presses on them.

I would like to see Agnes get a real bike before I go. Mr. Cochran? Anything you can do?

My first bike was a yellow Schwinn, one speed, 26 fat tires and heavy. All the other kids had ten speeds.

You have to do something for someone that would make that person want to buy a bike for you, Agnes. Did that enter into your thinking?

Agnes could send Grandma’s dentures out to the dry cleaners! Gotta start somewhere!

Agnes you live in a trailer park.. just take one abandoned, repair it.. and hope no one recognizes and reclaims it.. Hint.. use parts from 2 or 3 to throw ex owners off the track.

Still remember slipping off the pedals and landing on the crossbar. Not a fond memory mind you.

Never owned a bike and never learned to ride one. Of course Agnes lives a life of luxurious leisure compared to the life I led as a child.

Not really. By that time, you probably won’t remember that you didn’t have a bike, so you can make up whatever bike you want.
