When someone is sued, are they involved with a moot suit?

Possibly grounds for an appeal.

Even the owls didn’t give a moot.

Interesting word. I had to look it up in my dictionary: Moot

1): a deliberative assembly primarily for the administration of justice; especially: one held by the freemen of an Anglo-Saxon community

2): obsolete: ARGUMENT, DISCUSSION

So what were they discussing? For I doubt that they were administrating justice on ZOOM.

Moot: Legalese for it does not matter anymore.

Someone once said to me “mute point”. I said you mean “moot point”, right? the reply was “what’s the difference?” Good point.
