The Fink should have enough hot air, to keep the balloon in the air, without the need for the cast iron stove.
Tanks, hoses, igniters and a few gallons of propane. Oh, and they really need a prettier envelope.
I always was in favor of blimp travel. Save for their habit of exploding.

The French first put up a hot air balloon, but I doubt they used an iron boiler for their heat as it would weigh too much.

Most of the hot air in the USA, is concentrated over Washington DC, and the 50 State Capitals.

Is the wizard really a wizard? If so he wouldn’t need the coal fired boiler. A cauldron, his wand and some potion ingredients and he should be able to make all the heat he needs.
we had two hot air balloons fly over our house yesterday, beautiful evening for it. Good thing they didnt drop in, we had already eaten
