I dug in my heels and tried to not grow older, but time won. At least, (cough, hack, hack) I’ve still got my health.

Time is the river we all ride. And no one see’s the waterfall that is death until its to late.

I usually congratulate someone announcing to me they are about to turn 65. When they express dismay, I comment, “As opposed to the alternative…”

As a comic strip charcter, he doesn’t really age.

My mother taught me that one should wear their age like a badge of honor, because each year you have is a year you’ve earned. I totally subscribe to that mindset.

Everybody want’s to go to heaven , but nobody wants to die . ??

I’m sure “they” (who ever they are) have found the secret, to stop ageing and stay young forever. They just don’t want to share.

Is it me or does Garfield look a bit different here?

I don’t mind the age as much as the problems associated with it. When I was younger, being overweight was a problem, but I could just increase my exercise and take off the weight. Now, I’m even more overweight and can’t do the exercise to take off the weight.

we may get older, but doesn’t mean we have to get old! My Great-Grandma E used to say that. She lived to be 101 and a half.

Not sure what Garfield was thinking. Is he concerned about growing older or is he concerned that he may not be growing much older. Two sides to the same question.

Everyone seems to pick the worse alternative, My alternative to growing old is to stay young and handsome forever.
