Apparently after getting Tappered by CNN it was decided that the jig was up. However the Queen of Frisco is not tuned in. Shame they can’t take a vote of no confidence and kick the latrine queen out.
I am looking forward to being rid of the mask and breathing fresher air than mask air and not needing to constantly be making sure to stand on the little 6 foot markers all the time or playing the one way aisle game and all the other activities that were imposed. I’m ready to uncondition myself from the mandates. I am okay with folks who want to forever wear their masks. That is their choice. Just let me have mine too!
Yesterday I crossed paths with two other retirees outside the credit union. No hugs and kisses, but with masks in our left hands, we shook hands like we used to. Only then did one guy chuckle and comment, “I guess this means we all have been vaccinated.” Yes, we all have been. It was nice to hold a conversation at close range, and see full-faced expressions again.

And in the next alley, the “Shake hands” emoji is thinking the same thing.

Sure, why not. Some love going to the ER, then to the ICU, then to the morgue. So, go right ahead, hug all you want.

I don’t know. Some seem to be almost “enjoying” being forced to isolate and mask. Do they want to be released from “bondage”?

Had to deliver some tough news to a patient. They wanted a hug. I gave them one, wearing a face shield and a N95. It worked out fine.

And I am NOT giving up my mask. I can eat garlic without grossing people out. I did not get sick this past year, not once.

I’ll continue to mask up. I do not wish to be mistaken for an anti-mask, anti-vax COVIDiot.

Our city is anticipating a business surge – it just made all of the formerly free parking lots into pay-to-park lots…

The hugs have already started. It might take awhile for the kisses though.

I’ve been wearing a mask so long now, it will feel “weird”, NOT wearing one.
