I can relate, my automatic response to," Have a nice day", is “You too”. I sometimes realize that they said something else, where “You too.” doesn’t fit, BUT since it was just words from their automatic….
“People hide behind their smartphones and don’t socialise anymore. Technology has stolen our communication!” Then you look at a photo of “the good old days” and people hide behind their newspapers or books. There was virtually no electronic communication in those days. How much of the “normal” communication is sincere?
