It only dawned on me right now that Woody Woodpecker is the nutcase that he is precisely because, as a woodpecker, he’s frequently pounding his head into things. Forgive me for being 60 years slow on the uptake.

Love Woody. Had matching sweatshirts with him on them. Went back to Universal theme park years later, they discontinued them.

I was just singing the WW theme song yesterday when we heard a woodpecker on our walk! Too bad those cartoons aren’t shown anymore around here.

Birds of a feather flock together, but poo poo is just a lost puppy.

It’s funny that he must be dyed pink and ride around in a purse, but he can manage to get multiple plastic surgeries done of his choice.

Here’s why Bugs Bunny is still a huge celebrity and people have mostly forgotten about Woody Woodpecker. In a typical Bugs cartoon, Bugs is minding his own business when someone (Elmer Fudd, etc.) comes along and tries to mess with him. So Bugs fights back.In a typical Woody Woodpecker cartoon, Woody Woodpecker sees some innocent guy just minding his own business and decides to go $%&# with him. In other words, Woody Woodpecker is the villain in his own cartoons.

That took me back a few decades…

maybe not all the way back. I had a friend who got implants to go from A-cup to EE-cup. After a few months she said “I should have just gone with C or D”.
