Let these kids keep playing outside while the good kids keep learning and actually be ready for finals and then advance far away from them and then never have to deal with them again! You’re welcome!
School is, among other things, learning to cope with people who have different desires, needs, priorities, intelligence and physical prowess. I recall grade school with — not quite fear and loathing but — not much real pleasure. High school was worse in the first year, but then I actually started to enjoy some of the classwork. And I did like marching band. And skipping part days while I went to classes at the local college.
that’s the thing people don’t realize having more of things you like means having some thing you don’t like too. I feel this situation applies to multiple situations. more then I can give an example of.
…and the shoe drops. But of course, Max is perfectly right, and I was already thinking much the same thing that this would have to happen back when he first started making the argument.

I move that we switch recess and class time. All in favour…

Would it be better, Phoebe and Max if you kept recess as it is. Or you afraid you might get chased by a large mob assumed to be your schoolmate?
Wizard4168 over 3 years ago
Your assumption that school is about learning is charmingly naive, Max.

Not sure what the term “based” means, in this context.

Until this arc, I wasn’t aware that any school offered more than one recess per day.

And here we have Max telling it like it is.

Isn’t Max sweet? After clearly winning the debate, he cleverly throws the match, so Phoebe won’t feel bad… just like she planned to do.

He just deliberately threw the game… :P
