One myth the Mythbusters where never able to do (I’ve heard) was one that you loose thee to five pounds when you sleep. They where never able to understand the reason why it happens.
You instinctly ate a donut and didn’t realize it. You know how some people will not pay attention when eating popcorn or potato chips? That’s Garfield with donuts.
It is kinda simple: Fat molecules in your body attract other fat molecules on the outside. Then quantum tunneling causes the external molecules to embed inside your body.
Scientifically this is easy to explain. Garfield’s massive gravitational field, sucks in the sugar particles as his orbit passes the donuts. The sugar is absorbed by Garfield adding to it’s stellar mass. This is called “The Garfield Absorption Theory”. The theory has been proven, and peer-reviewed. Any Questions?
Garfield was able to avoid a plate of doughnuts, yet the scale still tells him that he’s fat. Also with those doughnuts, maybe now Jon will have a chance to actually have the entire plate of doughnuts since this might be a diet week.

Because there is no way you have enough will power to walk past a plate of doughnuts without eating at least one, even if you did hide it well.

Sometimes your roomie might mess around with the “zero” control thus adding a few pounds to the total. Take it out on Jon!

You wouldn’t want these talking scales at a state county fair, when guessing someone’s weight.
Especially if you want to win a prize.

Maybe the issue isn’t mass, maybe it’s Gravity.

Well there’s two theories. Osmosis is the first and most likely.
The second is that you are approaching critical mass and becoming a walking Black Hole.

You’re walking by the donuts helped you to gain muscle mass and burn off fat. Muscle weighs more than fat.
You’re welcome.
