Just cleaned out my fridge and found one of this “modern” pizzas – I only wonder if it’s worth a thing…(PS: “modern” doesn’t necessaryly mean “fresh”, huh, as I can tell from one bite)
Ergo, it wasn’t for another 70 years after the invention of the modern pizza that a black man became a doctor in England or the US – and another 170 years before a Disney character got knocked up.
The Romans would line a hole with leaves and water and flavoring in the desert to make slushies or Italian ices. The temp would drop so fast the water would freeze.
The first African American to earn a medical degree – from Scotland? Not making sense here. Who was the first AA to earn a medical in the USA? The first woman? The first AA woman? Curious minds want to know.
I thought Bambi’s mother was the first pregnant character, giving birth to Bambi, and then the next year, Bambi impregnates Faline, who then gives birth to twins at the end of the movie.
However being a doctor in 1830 didn’t require any special aptitude. The education was rudimentary, and more on empirical observation then science. It wasn’t one of the better paying professions at the time.

And my fresh pudding dessert can go from hot to cold in less than the time it takes to eat it.

I don’t know what people in Naples thought of tomatoes at the time. But, supposedly, in 1760 a lot of Europeans believed tomatoes were poisonous.

Tomatoes in Italy – were first called “love apples” and came in yellow.
