The vegan grilled cheese sandwiches, while bad, are still not as awful as good old American prison nutraloaf.

If you have never heard of nutraloaf, the idea is simple. Some prisoners insist on being a continuing PITA. As a first rung up on the disciplinary ladder the prisoner will be deprived of ordinary meals. The meals will be replaced with a loaf made up of ordinary meal ingredients blended together and baked.

The resulting loaves are nutritious, but depending on the prison, range from unappetizing to unpleasant. Still, there is nothing toxic in them, and consuming one will keep body and soul together for another day.

Complying with routine prison rules will result in the prisoner being returned to routine prison food. Which is the entire point.

They’ve crossed the line and should be reported to The Guild of Calamitous Intent. Oops, wrong cartoon.

It’s a good thing that goons tend to be a bit, uh, mentally deficient. Also easily fooled.

Vegan food? Bleah!
