    My kids and their spouses make higher salaries than I ever did, but I’ve probably saved more than they ever will.

    At some point in life you realize that you are managing the retirement portfolio for your off-spring. My parents skipped a generation but I had to manage their savings for their 9th inning. Dad taught me well and they had no worries.

    From observations of our neighbors now in their 70’s we are glad that we chose not to go with the mini-us production option.

    The longer that I work, the higher the monthly payout on my pension when I retire

    I get a yearly statement telling me how much it would be based on my time in so far

    I need to keep working for more years than I’m going to want to
