Today is

National Hamburger Day

National Beef Burger Day. Isn’t that the same thing? Despite the name, aren’t hamburgers made of beef? They’re certainly not made of ham.

National Road Trip Day. My road trip will just be going to work.

National Brisket Day

National Cooler Day. As cool as it was on Thursday, yep, it’s supposed to be cooler today. Actually, they’re talking about coolers you put cold drinks in, though

National Don’t Fry Day. “Each year on the Friday before Memorial Day, National Don’t Fry Day aims to raise awareness of all the risks of overexposure to the sun. It is important for everyone to remember to use sun protection and sun safety practices.” No worries there. We’re supposed to be chilly, cloudy and rainy and may even have frost Friday night. Northern parts of the state might even see some white stuff (I don’t want to say that word!).

My new wake up time of 2 AM is the pits.
