Nancy’s song for today seems to be “I…. want you… to want me!” by Cheap Trick.
Seeing this side of Nancy is a good thing… but it also feels harshly sad in some way. It is highlighting Nancy’s vulnerability to Mildred. It highlights that when you look past all her bravado…. Nancy is nervous and fretful and worries about fitting in. In many ways, I suspect Nancy represents all of us to some degree today.

Don’t worry, Nancy. Someday you’ll find that special someone who seeks to ruin all your hopes and dreams, just so they can thrive on your anger.

I would think everybody needs to be needed. Who was it that said, ‘No man (woman) is an island?’

seems like nancy is angry in every comic. the originals have her smiling about something regularly. sure like to see more of that.
