I hate to be overly serious on GoComics.com, but people probably Shouldn’t get immediately used to going maskless in public. The research is still out on what degree the vaccinations stop transmissibility, last time I checked, and there are new strains with higher transmission rates increasing. I don’t think we should step back basic precautions until we at least reach herd immunity.
living in a country where it’s part of the culture for people to think of others before themselves (with tons of exceptions to the rule witnessed daily, granted), it’s always entertaining to see americans equate the common sense of wearing a mask to protect others and one’s self with an unforgivable trashing of one’s individual rights and the loss of “freedom”…
Umm, every single day, Brewster proves he’s a clueless dimbulb. Is this supposed to suggest that people who’ve been vaccinated are clueless dimbulbs? I’m thinking this strip is sending a confused message.
I didn’t get the vaccination because I had the CCP virus back in April of last year, so I have natural immunity. So, I don’t need to wear a mask, and haven’t worn one since Arizona eliminated the need to wear one last month.
It’s fine to be serious in this site. What is NOT fine is the way some of the blinkered, ravening, sometimes downright obnoxious and filthy “contributors” keep on and on and on and on about their favourite political party/moron, attributing them complete infallibility while throwing the kitchen sink at the other side without acknowledging any of their good points or achievements. It goes for both sides but one in particular seems completely rabid.Anyway, happy birthday to the country that has done so much for the world and history. You’ve made mistakes but, unlike some, you seem to learn at least something from them.

Freedom means different things to different people. The most basic right is to be let alone. This works fairly well.

I see we have some “Freedom Lovers” commenting. Enjoy, but stay the hell away from me.

The virus really doesn’t care if you get the vaccine as long as there are those who refuse it and those people don’t wear masks.

You can still catch and spread Covid while vaccinated, and children under twelve still can’t get it. Just wear a mask.
