If i was you dear. I’d take Fred for his walk now. If you don’t there might be another chore for you to do. Clean up a mess somewhere.

Just make sure she feeds you on time. Some things have to take priority.

My neighbors have to large dogs. They would take them for walks, but often put the leash on one of the dogs and get distracted, talking to a neighbor. The second dog would pick up the loose end of the leash in its mouth, and proudly walk down the street, taking the first dog for a walk.

Please be understanding, Fred, she is only a human.

I’d rather be walking the dog

Why would anyone mop the floors before taking the dog for a walk? Just in case the dog finds a puddle (this is England after all) or some loose dirt or anything else to get in or on his fur.

Fred, If you piddle on her kitchen floor I bet you will get moved to the top of her list.
