If they can smell the burgers, you can bet that the bear can too.

The bear can smell the burgers in your backpack also.

The artwork in today’s strip is very well done and the facial expressions are particularly well drawn. That said, I have an urge for a hamburger…!

To you, they’re burgers. To the bear, they’re a homing device.

Baldo and Cruz need some survival skills….. a map and compass for the old-schoolers like me. And both of those kids have GPS on their phones… a sure bet they don’t know how to use it!

If you’re really that lost, follow a stream down to a river and then the river down to a road.

Why in the world would they put burgers in their backpack?

Leave burgers behind for Bear. Better – Leave entire backpack behind for Bear. The fabric has undoubtedly absorbed the odor.

…and they’re still hot enough to release scent? Impressive… most impressive.

Oh Great. That’s just bate for the bear…..

I have always wondered, why are his glasses so small?

Wait until Nightfall, then look up at the sky.

A Glow on the horizon will indicate the location of the nearest Strip Mall.
