how could it get worse? by being thrown out of the pub for being skinned and asking a patron to buy his pint

Did you post that sign Andy? Maybe the rain is the universes way of telling you to follow the rules…not to mention the fact you might as well sit in the rain because you will probably fall in the canal anyway

@Cappers old and new Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp love of solitude did not last long the approaching rainfall made him go to the pub :o) my avatar is a spoof of some men who thinkt hey look as handsome as Brad Pitt when they actually look as goofy as Mr Bean ,no wonder that when I look in a mirror I wonder who that 76 year old geezer is, how was your day guys and gals? our Sunday should be busy but calm I hope we are both in a good mood , no early morning drive done , so we’ll just chill and watch the Holy mass celebrated by our Archbishop on Telly, keep safe and take the anti Covid19 vaccine jab , in Malta we have reached herd immunity

The rain in Spain, stays mainly on the plain. But a sharp Nor’ Wester, makes the thirsty man blessed ’er.

I just can’t see Andy as a dedicated fisherman. The type who would stand for hours in waiters in an icy cold stream trying to catch a stealhead or trout or maybe a salmon. Nope, I just can’t see Andy in that sort of picture.

Have some fish and chips at the pub, and call it a win.

Spent many a day out in the rain ,cold bitter wind off the Gulf of Maine fishing for Striped Bass looking forward to a hot shower and a cold pint with a whiskey Chaser , to put it simply " life is good" !

I always thought Andy brought that case of beer with him, hard to imagine him not knocking back a few while fishing, since the only thing he’d catch was a buzz.

“On second though, nah, I’ll stay here. I drink too much anyway; a man’s got to think of his health. But I guess I should move to a fishing spot that is legal. … nah, I’ll go to the pub.”

The XXX migrated it’s way up from the box to his brain. Pre soak before he falls into the canal.

Gee, I wonder why he always has that spot all to himself? Because of the no fishing sign? Or because there’s no fish?

Can’t get a bite? Go put the bite on someone. It’s your bag.

Always good to have a Plan B.

What body of water is Andy fishing in? Why does he not fall in? Never seems to miss the canal.

All alone with thoughts of the pub, apparently.

Andy is a magician, he can walk down a street, and turn into a pub.

Andy doesn’t cause harm by fishing at a no fishing spot because he never catches.

Andy should have brought an umbrella. Coincidentally, it’s raining where I live.

It would be ironic if he fell into the canal on the way.
