I don’t think cats do long, drawn-out romantic tragedies. Your typical cat is more a “love ‘em and leave ‘em” type.

I was gonna utter that. Really.

Good morning Crew! Did you see me waving back roaming? ;-)

One day after school many years ago one of my daughters told me that if they had cell phones Romeo and Juliet would not have had to end the way it did. (If you don’t know how it ends, I’m not going to spoil it for you)

“Romeo, oh Romeo wherefor art … wait what is that cat? Is there a mouse? Run dear mouse, RUN, NO!!! Ah, so passes the preciousness of life. Indeed I see that love holds no candle to the preciousness of life. Another plan …” Scratch has a point. I’ve never liked Romeo and Juliet. A good distraction could have worked.

In Scratch’s version, Juliet sniffed catnip to appear in a delirious stupor and then thinking she was mad, Romeo took rat poison.

Will the owner of an obnoxious cat please come claim your property?

Yeah dude, maybe add a bear!

There’s enough drama in Romeo and Juliet without adding a cat.
