This reminds of an old joke one of my high school teachers told me. A cat chased a mouse. The mouse escaped by entering a pothole, and waited for the cat to go away. He heard a dog barking, emerged from his hiding place, and the cat ate him. A short while later, the cat met up with some alley cats, and told them, “It pays to be bilingual in New York.”

And he’s not alone in that.

Then when he gets back to his nest, Woodstock will get the joke and laugh his head off!

Considering how little Woodstock is, it’s not surprising that things go over his head.
