Red! Mom isn’t going to loan you her only fake fur! Not in a million years!

(Stands there in the pool with a strange, relieved look on his face) “Never mind; the water is getting warmer now…”

Red’s as picky about “seasonal water” as Lucy is with “seasonal snowflakes”. “Feels good to me”— is like a hat tip to Peanuts.

Must be new fresh hose water. Give it a day in the sun Red.

Maybe you should put the kettle on and pour that in.

Unlike today where the heat is up-Up-UP!

Line the pool with a black trash bag, it will absorb the sun’s heat. Then use it to cover the pool at night to keep the water warm. Today they make solar warming liners that do the same thing at 100X the cost.

Evidently he does not live in the Pacific Northwest like I do, where it is now 115F and not the 78F that is historically the norm.
