Those electric unicycles are hilarious. I can’t look at anyone using one without thinking of Thor from Hart’s B.C. striplinks to a couple of pics to show what I mean:https://johnhartstudios.com/meet-the-actors/thor/http://nmmc.net/Blog_Resources/Images/BC_Wheels.jpg
“As he hurtled toward his adventure’s very bad conclusion…” Is this a rare misspelling in Doonesbury? Should it be, “As he hurtled toward his adventure’s very bad concussion…”?
Just what we need, another goofy contraption to encounter as a pedestrian, or worse yet, someone who might try to meander into traffic on a motorized unicycle? Of course, in suburban KC, it isn’t as challenging as it tends to be in other cities… Good luck to all of you!
I take this as a metaphor for the Miami condo collapse, and for every other obviously bad political decision this country has made in the last, say, five years.
With so much comic fodder coming from the Biden/Harris administration, Gary seems adrift like Ahab in a banal pursuit his Trumpian white wale, obsessing about the apocryphal Jimmy Crow and the 1/6 scuffle at the Capitol. How about something to the effect of Uncle Duke, your caricatured devil incarnate who ply’s his chaos to the highest bidder being the man behind the scenes who is actually running the country creating all our current calamity. As we inexorably swirl the bowl as a nation you could at least dole out the critique in an equal opportunity fashion.Lord knows there’s plenty to go around. As a long time fan of Doonesbury, will this be best described as Trudeau’s void period? C’mon, Gary, shake it up!
Not to worry, folks. The Rascal is headed towards water. They may temporarily go missing, but no hero – or villain – ever died after they fall into water.

Each time I go out Bloomfield Road, I look around hoping I’ll see the guy on the unicycle with the Indian clubs again.
I especially want to see him in action. He was just carrying the clubs when I went by, and I couldn’t linger because I was on my way to a session.

Always stick with a hoverboard. And remember to charge it outside, away from all combustibles.

Up until mention of the electric unicycle, I was thinking in terms of “The Greatest American Hero” learning how to fly the suit.
