just curious, but what could happen if you step foot into that Chinese radio telescope’s 4.83-kilometer range with a cell phone or computer?

Since wireless is out there, guess the area around that RT has great landlines for phones, pc’s, and tv/radio.

Guy thought his newly found sibling, who seemed to always need money, should have remained lost.

Wonder if the first Mummy movie 1932 used one of those manuals for making up the actor who played the part. Karloff did a great job, as if he had actually sprung from an open tomb.

Well, Russia had a heck of a 20th century with all the wars, famine and purges and death. And there are vast tracts of land in Siberia that are very sparsely populated.

How does one get the acronym F.A.S.T. from Five Hundred Meter Aperture Spherical Telescope? Am I missing something? or are THEY?

Good thing they were same sex siblings or their relationship could have become, shall we say, “complicated”.

If a country were “118 times smaller” than other it would not exist whatsoever…Bangladesh might be “an 118th of Rusia’s size”, never 118 times (not even 1 time) smaller.

Sorry, RBION, but the China thing isn’t hard to believe. At all. Especially since there is a similar prohibition in a county in West Virginia where the US has a radio telescope. More than one radio telescope, in fact.

IT IS OT 118 TIMES SMALLER. IT is 1/118th the size, or approximately 0.8% of the size. The way this, and thousands of other examples, are worded the smaller example is NEGATIVE in size.Pedantry finished
