^^ I expect that the members of one of the two major political parties to be grounded in reality. I expect that in a democracy, no eligible voter be disenfranchised. I expect everyone to adhere to democratic norms and customs, and when they lose an election, to admit it.
Want to be dictators do not care what you expect. They only want to win, no matter what it takes. I prefer power to the people. Most elected offices are for the person with the most votes.

The establishment of the United States as a Republic was dubbed “The Great Experiment,” with it’s ideals so succinctly stated by Lincoln as a government “of the People, by the People, and for the People.” But when I see an American look another American in the eye and say “you and your kind should be exterminated,” the only conclusion I can draw is that “The Great Experiment” is a failure. And that saddens me beyond measure.
The people who are questioning the legitimacy of elections are severely lacking in ethical character and tend towards self delusion. It’s amazing how the system is so much better designed than the brains of about 40% of the people who live in it.
Trump throws a childish tantrum, declaring without proof that he lost unfairly, and then he expands on that to try to throw out voting and faith in Democracy. The more he does it, and the more the Republicans tolerate and embrace it, the more they all destroy their future.

Undermining everything is the tactic of an domestic abuser, so that all you’re left with is “faith” in your abuser.

IMHO: If you don’t vote, then you don’t deserve freedom. You are part of the problem. Please, leave the country ASAP. I will get off my soapbox now.
