Usually, the best thing to do is go back to the room you started from and you’ll remember what it was. Then you need to remember that when you trek back.
The thing of it is, I usually don’t remember why I went in the next room, until I get back to my original room and sit back down. So now, I go into the next room, forget why I am there, and then sit down in that room, and then I remember why I am there. I don’t know why it works, but it works for me.
Tied a string around my finger to remember something, later, I wondered who tied it or why it was there in the first place. One of my life’s great mysteries.
Basically, I think Brutus and I have one track minds. This means that if while doing a task you happen on some other thing or task, the new task erases the original task. Even while preaching, I might lose track of the original thought by “chasing the wild hare” and heaven help me after that.
Yep, happens to me. Far to often. Forgetting why I went into a room or late at night when I should start heading towards my bedroom, I get about half way there when I find myself going the opposite direction, towards my home office.

You’re not the only one: it often happens to me too. And for many years.

If you can’t remember what you were looking for, that means that you didn’t need it in the first place!!

As we grow older, we think more about the hereafter, because when we walk into a room we think, “what was I here after?” :)

I know which room I came out of if I find my coffee cup.

Brutus shouldn’t multi-task, you know walk and think at the same time.
