They react the same way to a cat who has to wear the dreaded cone-of-no-grooming.
This must happen every summer-get a grip Pippa.
Calm down, Pippi.
Easy, Pippi.
It happens every summer to my cousins’ Maine Coons. They are back to their fluffy selves by Thanksgiving.
I need to get my Tuxedo boy shaved. He didn’t take the move last fall well, and won’t let me brush him long enough to get the mats out anymore.
I used to get my two longhairs shaved every June, just before the hot weather started. Otherwise they’d spend all summer in the basement laying on the cool concrete floor.
Poor little Fargo! Just swat her one, Fargo. Or maybe Pippin will come and help you.
