In the books Nkima was seldom a great messenger, being easily distracted. He did a much better job here. Since Muviro doesn’t speak ape little Nkima must be great at charades to tell Muviro about Tarzan’s need for a large contingent of warriors, and to follow the monkey. Would have been a good couple days of panels to show the the dance and the Waziri making guesses about the meaning…

Yesterday there were hundreds of warriors. Today there are only a hundred. Either a couple hundred decided to go home or only a hundred had fierce throats.

Thank goodness the Waziri know the good cavemen from the bad and where everybody is. No home field or defensive advantage here.
