The name of the volcano and the native guy really should be switched around, resulting in a character named Karator and a volcano named Volthar. Was the artist actually thinking about these names? Or were they randoms picks?

Looks like a swell place with pyroclastic clouds and ash. No place like home.

Yesterday it was “this worthless life,” and today Volthat is “too proud to reveal his fear of falling.” This guy could use some couch time with a shrink.

I was expecting Tarzan to carry him up. And you found what, your homeland? How exactly did you lose it?

So they still in Africa or they is finally reaches Norway now?

They are just East of Java and that bubbling volcano is about to blow! I can hardly wait until they reach Cathanea and see what kind of Queen rules there…..

It also has a karator, which is a bit confusing.

Hmm; Odd that in the original “Tarzan and the city of Gold” Valthor was from Athne (City of Ivory) Cathne (City of Gold) was the long time enemy of his people.

Yet in this version they are calling Valthor a “Cathnean”

I don’t know much about Tarzan’s history, but I hate it when they change things like that from the original. ;/
