Do you suppose Bob Scott has ever been to Disneyland? There is nothing there that looks like this. Space Mountain is maybe the closest, but it’s indoors and in the dark.
So, what Tier Level did Walter get for them. For the most fun, you’d want Tier 5 for a one day trip… at $209 apiece. I thought he was broke? Whose money is he spending on those two?
When I was young (and there was only Disneyland) I so wanted to go. I entered some contest for which some prize was a choice of a trip to Disneyland or to Freedomland, a much lesser of the same in the Bronx, NYC where I had been several times with my parents (now where it was is part of Co-op city there). I was soooo disappointed I did not win.
My husband went when he was in his late teens or early 20s to Disneyland with his parents. When in our earlier years we would talk about it and I would express my expectations towards going there and what I would see/do, I found out that none of was what I thought it was (darn Donald Duck and nephew comics) and since then I have no desire to go there or DisneyWorld or anything similar. I don’t like heights so any rides that go up in the air are not for me/husband suffers from motion sickness – so he wouldn’t go on most of the rides either. I am not a shopper – he was mildly a shopper, so not interested in gift shops. The trip to DisneyWorld would take us from Long Island 3 or 4 days to drive there – as husband has to do all the driving.
No regrets at never having gone nor do I have any desire to go to either park either. Heck the prices at the RV park is more than we would pay for a hotel room anywhere back when we used to stay in hotels on trips.
I am sure I would be far from happy if I went there.

I totally agree. The ferris wheel is most daring I can handle.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature’s recipes
That bring the bare necessities of life

A bear on a roller coaster is a bit over the top.

Unfortunately Bear, the “Country Bear Jamboree” attraction that was at Disneyland for many years is long gone. :(

I prefer Universal Studios.

It’s the most expensive place on earth. You can probably take a cruise around the world for what one day at Disneyland will cost you.

I’m with Bear on this; I really, really hate roller coasters!

Roller coasters are fun. But not for everybody. Especially not for bear.
