Florida birds prefer theirs with mustard and onions only.,,,,hey they were here first and inherited the hot dog stand and they have their "rats which is “rights” in southern vernacular going all the way back to the Civil war. They were the air devision with hot air balloons and these stalwart, aviary cousins were renown for their bombing attacks on the enemy’s food canteens and for sure they could take away appetites real fast. An army bespattered, marches not on its stomachs but rather on its outhouses stinking up the entire battlefield. Woe be unto you if Lee released his bellicose Aviary division on to the battlefield, grown men have been known to shriek out in terror at the contemplation of such.
At the San Francisco Zoo there are signs at all the restaurants warning about the gulls. Years ago we saw a little kid at a table have his hamburger removed from the bun and flown off with a gull. The Scripps Aquarium has a wanted poster with a gull by name with a photo and description.

In reality, there would be a half dozen more gulls fighting for that hot dog.

Not a gull. Not a pelican. Might be an egret. Either way, it’s got lunch.

Make it a seagull and it’s realistic.
