There is a dome house not far from me. I’m so tempted to knock on the door some day and ask to see what it looks like inside.

I thought it was the Fuller Brush man.

It turned out very few people needed geodesic domes. While the domes had a lot of advantage in terms of strength and cheapness, they were poor on usable storage space. They also had to be large enough for a door to fit in a single facet or you “broke” the geodesic structure.

The struggle must be real for that kid:)

R Buckminster Fuller is one of my heroes. We studied him in Modern Architectural History. I had fun making Bucky Balls from paper and hairpins.
