Such fun! I noticed the mouse was beautifully drawn and shaded, and then — belatedly — noticed the rest of the strip is, too. I really do love your artwork. The tortoise is great. Ok, the artwork is so good that the first thing you see is the joke of the strip. Then you notice the art. That’s really good!
I love how the hare is drawn so poignantly as if to show its mental condition to be portrayed as an eternal loser and never getting any endorsements. Even though it has tried hard, changed its character, and will probably win this race over that complacent tortoise, its reputation will never improve.
