Summer ended on July 4. On July 5 all of the summer stuff was shoved onto the clearance shelves to make way for the Back to School stuff, with the Halloween candy waiting in the wings.

You’re such a wet blanket on a rainy day! LOL!! You sound like a store owner or a retailer. I’m sort of a businessman myself. I used to sell out of pocket little trinkets and odds and ends like watches, pens, keychains, etc. So I can understand the business side of what you’re saying.

Shouldn’t that first one be, “Like a tornado through a trailer park”?

Damn straight. And the older you are, the faster weeks whizz by. It was Sunday just a second ago, blink and its Friday. And you wonder, where did the time go?

Summer goes very slowly in FL. The hot humid months of July and August drag by. I can’t wait until September and that entire month is still too hot.

A paleteria sells paletas, not Popcicles. Paletas are much, much better. The fruit paletas contain real fruit.

Gracie, next time try ice cream. You will never eat a popsicle again.
