UFO<>Alien. There are certainly objects in the sky we have failed to identify. I think it’s a lot more likely that human Governments are experimenting with new technologies than that intergalactic beings who have managed to conquer the light barrier are hanging around this place for decades and hiding.
Second serendipitous strip in a week… “Should we be getting out of here?” This is the question my husband, a Virginia native, has asked with growing frequency as he scans the daily headlines at our breakfast table here. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/14/opinion/texas-voting-law.html — Texas Has Broken My Heart By Mimi Swartz
I’ve asked myself that question lately. After moving here to care for my dad, I’ve stayed and even adopted some Texas natives’ pride of place, proud of my “blueberry in the ketchup” status. Now, with Republicans legislating that every insecure punk can carry a gun, and poor people should have unfair hurdles to vote; I’m reconsidering my decision.
The release on Friday (June 25) of the U.S. government’s report about unidentified flying objects has whipped up a blend of reactions, from UFO groups to individuals in military, academic and scientific circles.
Labeled as “preliminary,” the unclassified nine-page UFO report was prepared by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in consultation with the Pentagon, particularly the military’s recently established Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force, in response to a request by Congress to assess the threat posed by UFOs. (UFOs have been rebranded as UAP in military parlance.)
There were those breathing hard awaiting compelling proof that aliens are here, buzzing through Earth’s airspace while chalking up extraterrestrial mileage points. While the report falls short on that score, what UAPs truly represent remains a mind-bending head-scratcher.
Space.com reached out to a number of individuals for their take-away messages about the highly anticipated report.
The report has been greatly mischaracterized in the media and by UFO enthusiasts, said Mick West, a writer and a distinguished debunker.
“UAPs are unidentified because of limited data; that’s what makes the cases difficult to explain,” West said. “The report suggests the majority of cases, if solved, would turn out to be a variety of things like airborne clutter or natural atmospheric phenomenon. A lack of data does not mean aliens are the likely answer.”
Of course, we can’t rule out aliens in cases with limited data; that’s literally impossible," he said. "The point is that there’s zero evidence or indication of aliens. None of the cases showed conclusive evidence of anything interesting.
Only a limited number of cases, mostly observer accounts, hinted at unusual flight characteristics, and the report stated that some or all of those could be explained by ‘sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception’ and ✁

There are no aliens here. They are on their home asteroid traveling through the galaxies. What we think we see is their entertainment as they play with us by using their version of smoke and mirrors. It’s like a laser light on the wall that the cat pursues.
So you are asking how does he know the truth. Well, after the remote probing they have High Tea* with you and you get to ask them questions. They are very open and gracious…except for the probing part of the encounter.
As good an explanation as any government report.
The other downer is that there are no espresso drinks. It’s High Tea or nothing but if you want they do let you be Mother.)
They’ve been reported since the invention of reports & studied since we developed studies & after thousands of years we can now firmly say; “What the hell was that?”
The release of those Naval aircraft FLIR images and videos are deceptive. While Forward Looking InfraRed imagery has its uses, detail and high fidelity is not among them. What looks like a black disk shape with a dome under FLIR becomes an aircraft when viewed with normal photography or video. Same with that fast moving white dot being tracked above the ocean surface. It’s most likely a weather balloon being propelled by the wind. It only looks like it’s moving so fast because of the parallax view. Wikipedia has a decent description of the effect.

Woke up this morning with light in my eyes
And then realized it was still dark outside
It was a light coming down from the skyI don’t know who or why
Must be those strangers that come every night
Those saucer shaped lights put people uptightLeave blue green footprints that glow in the dark
I hope they get home alright
Hey, Mr. Spaceman
Won’t you please take me along
