The restaurant is busy and Gene and Mary Lou can afford to hire professional help.

We’ve decorated the boat and you’ll be staying there.

Looks like my comment from yesterday is coming true and I quote:

The food they are about to eat is poisoned. The bodies will be disposed. The inheritance will cover the huge debt they accumulated over the pandemic.

I wonder if Gene and Mary Lou are going to surprise Arlo and Janis with a house built on the land?

Mom and Dad are cheaper!

Like the time my parents came to visit me in college. My three year old brother saw me first, and said, “We got you a typewriter!” I didn’t like surprises at three either.

Will there be air mattresses for the floor?…..

They moved Arlo’s sailboat to the back forty. So now they can be just like the star of that old TV show who lived in his sailboat, parked on the back lot of the local marina-do not recall the name of that old TV show or the name of the star but think it was before Miami Vice

Or that retirement house/cottage Gene and Arlo talked about a while back is all done, and they will be moving there?

Papa Arlo? Shouldn’t it be Grandpa Arlo?

Does Gene only intend for them to stay one night? Or will they sleep someplace else? You’d think they would discuss how long the visit is before the visit begins.
