He has a picture in an attic somewhere, but because he never does anything worse than mildly annoying people, it remains cheerfully chaotic and in great condition to this day.
Burt is either trying to figure out how the heck Jules has lived so long, or he’s not pleased that Jules is sitting in the middle of the bowl of popcorn. Jules has never had the best manners….
While I’m glad to see that Jules is being set free, I’m appalled at the lack of logic being demonstrated. Spies frequently use neutral territory, and visiting other people’s grandparents is not incompatible with espionage.
Freedom for Jules! Yay! However, how old is he? Did he actually fly in WWI as his flying goggles and helmet would indicate? Great arc, not that Agatha is about to spring the July Bug, what’s next? We still have a week left in July for more of Jules!

It seems like the rescue may not be needed, but better safe than sorry. I can’t wait to see what Monday brings.

I must say this has been the best Jules story for me.

Didn’t I postulate that Jules was immortal? I don’t want to toot my own horn, but, toot…toot…toot!

Oh, I’ve been thinking ‘bout Jules’ misfortune
And I’ve decided that Mag’s really not to blame
For a bug that’s caught inside a jar is just her game
And the way we join together
Is the music to the story of our lives
We’ve been harmonizing for awhile, I realize
Listen to the lid slowly turning
Lettin’ ol’ Jules get away
Agatha is golden, we are learning
And from her daring Jules may fly another day

Aaron Neville (and The Main Ingredient) from 1991: Everybody Plays the Fool
Okay, you travel afar
Then find yourself in a jar
Cryin’ and cryin’
You say you’re no longer flyin’
Well, before you do anything rash, dig this
…….
Everyone gets caught like Jules sometime
There’s no exception to the rule
Listen, kitties, it may be factual, may be cruel
I ain’t lyin’, everyone gets caught like Jules
Flying free is not an easy thing to do
And there’s no guarantee that your freedom
Will stay with you!
…….
Oh-oh-oh, flying high we cannot see
Where the boundaries just might be
Raccoons and opossums have their land
And neutral territory is at hand, but
Everyone gets caught like Jules sometime
There’s no exception to the rule
Listen, kitties, it may be factual, may be cruel
I ain’t lyin’, everyone gets caught like Jules

Since I’m sure he is not the only June Bug, is there a “Family Jules” out there somewhere?
Zoomer&Yeti over 3 years ago
Okay , now I’ll go with my all-time favorite DP song:
Can you remember, remember my name?
As I glide through your life.
A thousand backyards I have known.
And cold, cold spirits of ice
All my life
I am the echo of your past!
I am returning, the echo of a point in time.
And distant faces shine
A thousand Robber Mice I have known.
And laughing as the spirits appear.
All your life.
Shadows of another day.
And if you see me gliding on the wind
You’ve got to understand
I must remain . . . Golden Mouse!

I suppose his getting July mixed up with June was enough to make him basically immortal.

I get the impression Jules is based on British actor Terry-Thomas in “Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines”!
Zoomer&Yeti over 3 years ago
And I may as well go for the Deep Purple Hat Trick (yes, I am also a hockey fan)
Nobody gonna clip my wings,
Or keep me locked up in a jar.
Nobody gonna clip my wings,
Or not allow me to fly far.
Ooh I’m a Buzzing Machine.
I’ve got everything.
Like an exo-skeleton, six small legs, and everything.
I love it and I need it, I feel it.
Yeah, it’s a wild hurricane.
Alright, hold tight
I’m a SKY-WAY STAR!
