Wow, good timing on this cartoon, since I just had a heavy Thunderstorm blow through Southern Kentucky where I live, and one of my two pups was sitting next to me, panting and shaking…but the storm is over now, and he’s now sleeping…poor guy.
I take them out and sit on the porch when it starts to thunder. Act calm and pet them. Then read a magazine or sit quietly like it is no big deal. Seems to work. They aren’t afraid of thunder storms now.

Cats don’t seem too perturbed by thunderclaps. They seem to believe it’s entertainment.

My friend’s dog would hide under her bed. Six inch clearance from the floor. He was a Saint Bernard.

Sorry, Koko. Many cats also do not like loud noises. Thor is just noisy.
