My father passed away very quickly at the age of 78 in 1996 of dementia. My mother passed away at 92 in 2016 also very quickly of dementia and other contributing causes. Now my sister who has had 4 blood clots on her legs, and developed dementia 8 or 9 years ago is in a nursing home. I’ve had myself checked out and they listed me with mild cognitive impairment. Also three of my dad’s brothers had dementia.

Not all comics are meant to be funny. This one seems to be stating sadness for what has happened to lots of us over time.

Moderately sad. (I saw an embroidered cactus with the caption “Don’t Be a Prick”).
