thats awful purrrrty.

One of my cat’s purr is stuck on loud.

And, just when you are falling asleep, he comes up and purrs very loudly in your ear.

Is that a telephone handset?

There was an article in Science News some time ago reporting what’s thought to have been the first real ethological study of moggie social behavior.

One of the commenters on the study wrote “thank Bastet that nobody has ever cared enough to want to discover how cats purr”, to which there were several "amen"s.

I’m just a purr boy. Nobody rubs me.

He’s just a purr boy from a purr family. Spare him his life from this meowstrosity!

My kitties purr loudly, too… to the point that one of them I think is actually snoring…

i remember seeing this one years ago & ever since then, i comment if a cat’s purr box is running! people probably think i’m looney!

Well, this explains a lot.

Lily’s purr is usually going off at 3am. Right above my head as she walks across the pillow…..

So that’s what makes them tick!
