I’m not even bald myself and I still wear baseball caps.

They’re on to me …….dang!

On the other hand, some of the sexiest people have been “cueballs”-Yul Brynner, Patrick Stewart and Telly Savalas.;-D

Well the hat gives my bald head shade in the summer and keeps the head warm in winter .

If I don’t cover my head in the sun, I blister like mad.

I just don’t want to blind the public with my shiny scalp. Or my halo.

The ball cap is very multi-purpose. It shades the head (w/o hair), and eyes, keeps the head from getting wet in the rain, can be used as a fan, and expresses determination when turned backwards.

Do baseball caps cause baldness?

I have a coworker who always wears a ball cap. The first time I saw him without it, I was shocked to see that he was BALD!

I’ve learned not to complain about my full head of long, curly hair ahead around other old guys. :)

Very true, those of us who lack hair on top, wear a hat to keep the dome from being sunburned.

Amen to kwfreltag88 and eddl_tbh on the value of hats to protect the bald or thinning spots on your head. My go-to summer hat, a ventilated western style, also protects my nose and ears from the summer sun.
