Politicians are focused on the next election (typically <2 years off).

Religion is focused on eternity.

The only institution that’s really concerned with the middle term, where almost all of us will be spending almost all of our lives, is science.

Wiley forgot to have the stupid people yell “98% survival rate!” That one is pretty popular with anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers on social media, and is easily debunked.

I just found out the latest breakthrough in antiviral drugs. Instead of using real corona viruses to stimulate antibody production (which will cause the disease) or using spicules which have been detached from the deadly part of the virus (the critical binding proteins may be blocked by the rest of the spicules, so the vaccine is weakened) some young lady scientists have developed artificial proteins to use as a core.
