. I can only hope they purchase some windows with the peanut money they make. And those purses were purloined from the park.

I just learned what the word Monsoon means. ( at my age) it doesn’t mean “torrential rain” , it means " reversal of wind" instead of wind blowing west to east, it blows east to west. And with a high pressure system parked over the four corners area of the US the tropical moisture gets diverted around it and we get rain. Supposed to happen every summer. Hasn’t for the last 2 years. The high pressure system moved too far east.

My dad’s birthday. He would have been 107 (he was only 76 when he died).

How did they get the tower on the roof? And why did no one tell me about the wonderful strip BIRD AND MOON??? Does everyone else read it? It’s just once a week, and so clever and interesting and often very educational!! I just found it yesterday and am working my way back to the beginning in 2018.

Wonder what the elephant is for.
