Today is:

National Words With Friends Day. But it’s my day off and I probably won’t see any of my friends. I’ll be in my garden and working in my yard and relaxing in my lawn swing with a book and maybe a puzzle book.

National Daiquiri Day. Not for me – I don’t drink. I’ll have lemonade instead.

I saw this on my porch by my back door a couple days ago. Am I correct that this is a dragonfly? First one I’ve seen this year.

The next couple pictures are my updated downstairs bathroom. I still have not repainted it. I’m thinking of repainting it the same or similar shade of yellow. I had chosen a mint green or light teal but we didn’t have the right base paint in our store. I don’t really like our selection of colors because they’re so dark. I want to check pant colors at the local hardware store today (if I don’t forget)

We had on and off light rain for over 4 hours yesterday! The ground is wet! I wore a light sweater, unheard of in summer here. 70% chance later today! We need every tiny drop.

I’ve only read the introduction but all I can say is MEOW!

I will buy your book little Sweetheart Ollie. My Tyler projectile barfed yesterday followed by a hairball. He says he can write the Forward Gratis, which will contain amusing anecdotes with pictures!

That looks like a really good book. On another note, saw a robin and a wren while out walking today.
