We are currently ridding my hometown of war criminal General Custers statue being of Cherokee heritage it used to make me sick watching people glorifying that murdering psychopathic.
AZ state senator Wendy Rogers declared she admired Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson and hated people who were traitors to America!!! She is a Republican, of course.
My wife has Abenaki and Mohawk blood. (Lame Beaver Clan, very few left…)
…and no sense of direction whatsoever. (And just to make up for it she has a inhumanly good sense of smell – makes me feel like a blind man sometimes – I wonder what I miss?)
We’ve often humorously observed between us that – if she’d been in on the deal – it would have been the “Lost Expedition of Lewis and Clark.”
Wonder if Sacagawea was ever used as a drudge and sexual punching bag as Euros often did with enslaved Indian women. (only Cherokee Princesses however). 1519 C-R TRUTH
Most folks don’t realize, everywhere Lewis and Clark went, the French had already been there. They conversed with most tribes in French. Many of the Native Americans were Catholic. Lewis and Clark weren’t the first to cross North America, simply the first Americans.

If they hadn’t had Sacagawea they would still be “exploring” . . .
Happily they HAD her to ask for directions – ‘cause guys don’t do that!
