Drew, Lila didn’t force you to read it while you were driving.

Drew, you’re more irresponsible than Lila.

Cars today can read the text to you and take a verbal reply.

True. My wife gets obvious scam calls and answers them. As most have spoofed local numbers she assumes “It might be someone I know.” Letting it go to voicemail seems impossible.

I don’t like her “the tree jumped out in front of my car and I hit it” defense.

Whoa… and the great American syndrome resurfaces again. “It’s not MY fault, she/he made me do it”! God, save us from our own stupidty.

Many times I like to send a text, rather than a phone call, at least initially. That way, I feel that I am not unduly intruding, and the person can respond at their leisure.

If you’re behind the wheel it should be OFF & you should have no idea there has been a call or text until you are not behind the wheel.

Drew considers herself to be perfect, so anything bad that happens is someone else’s fault.

Just because someone Sent you a text does not mean you Have To Read It Right Now.
